About the Artist

Tamara Trejo, known by many as Tammy, performs as the owner and photographer of Coastside Photography, Main Street, Half Moon Bay. Besides managing her photography endeavors, she is a perpetual student, happily married, and has two sons, David and Wesley. The Professional Photographers of America Convention has chosen to exhibit her work over the past nine years. The Loan Collection book, a compilation of the best photographic images in the United States, published her works in 1996, 1999, 2001, and 2002. Tammy has earned her fellowship from the Professional Photographers of California and recently received the Epson Masterpiece Award. She is a member of the Coastal Arts League, and has exhibited her work at the CAL Museum in Half Moon Bay. Other exhibits include the Burlingame, San Carlos, and San Mateo Libraries. She is a teacher to professional and aspiring photographers.
