I love my job, because I get to be with delicate, joyful, children. For them, there is only the present moment. They are born knowing how to sing and dance and do it freely. When I step into their world of make believe, my stories become real. Maybe we really did see the beautiful mermaid frolicking in the waves with the dolphins. I love to watch their state of wonderment as they scan the vast horizon to glimpse the fairytale. They are natural builders and artists and will make a sandcastle in an instant or draw wet sand mandalas, without a thought of what will happen to their works. They shine with the light of the universe and bring me to a place of laughter, fantasy and creativity. As long as taking pictures of kids is my job, I'll always find joy in my work. - Tamara Trejo
