The baby's body is so small and fragile but the spirit is so big it fills the room. The new soul is still so connected to heaven, it hasn't yet been enveloped by the earthly body or gained the earthly consciousness. The body must sleep... The caretakers must hush and recognize the slow entrance of the new heavenly soul into the tiny body. The busyness of life will come soon enough, for now just enjoy these sleepy moments.

As an Artist, I record and create art from this special time. I am still in awe and honored to be in the presence of a precious new human. –Tamara Trejo
